The CW canceled “The Game” at the end of last season, but the show may have a chance at suiting up for a different team.

BET has been talking with the show’s producer, CBS TV Studios, about reviving the series, which follows the girlfriends and wives of pro athletes, for a fourth season, says the Hollywood Reporter.

A revival of the series still has several obstacles to clear before it becomes a reality. These include re-signing the show’s cast — such as Tia Mowry Hardrict who plays Melanie Barnett, Coby Bell as Jason Pitts and Brittany Daniel as Kelly Pitts — whose deals ended after the CW let “The Game” go as part of a move away from making half-hour comedies.
